Youth Hockey Regular Season
The Tri-County Cyclones (formerly the Kent Cyclones) are charter members of the Cleveland Suburban Hockey League (CSHL), and the North Coast High School Hockey League (NCHSHL). Our youth teams participate in the preseason and regular season activities through CSHL. Our goal is that each team play in two tournaments in addition to our preseason/regular season games.
Our teams over the last three years have averaged over 60 practices per year.

Regular Season
Regular season practices begin on August 19th, 2024 and teams will regularly practice twice a week in the evenings.
8U to 14U plays in the Cleveland Suburban Hockey League
Preseason Games begin September 19th, 2024
Regular Season goes from November 7th, 2024 to February 13th, 2025
Playoffs are held on February 22nd and 23rd, 2025. The finals are held on March 1st, 2025.
High School plays in the North Coast High School Hockey League.
Where
Practices are primarily held at Kent State University Ice Arena.
Teams may practice periodically at Garfield Heights Rec Center.

After tryouts you will decide if you want to commit to the season by making a $310, non-refundable deposit.
Deposit will count towards your regular season dues.
The remaining amount of regular season dues can be paid at the time of deposit or you can pay the remaining balance in installments, split evenly, on Sept. 30th, Oct. 30th, and Nov. 30th.
